Flavour Room Operator at Perfetti Van Melle

What You Will Do

• Responsible for preparation of all flavours and other additives in line with production requirements.
• Ensures ygienic, prompt and adequate preparation of flavours for use by the production operatives in line with requirement in the product specification to meet production schedule and demand.
• Ensures flavour preparation room and enviroment are constatnly maintained clean and safe to produce quality products.
• Ensure that the conditions of storage of materials in the flavour room are adequate for safe keeping of materials prior usage.
• Maintain up-to-date records of flavour room materials and additives to ensure traceability.
• Take ownership of daily inventory and ensure accurate transfer on SAP and inventory reconciliation of physcial stock versus SAP value.
• Comply with GMP Rules and Regulations.
• Comply with Safety Rules and use of PPE at all times.

OUR PERFECT CANDIDATE

• Holder of HND/BSc in Food Science & Technology, Biochemistry, Chemistry or Microbiology or equivalent
• Minimum of 2 years practical experience in a Food Manufacturing Company
• Good knowledge of industrial mixer and equipment
• Good teamwork and customer centric attitude
• Goal-oriented with proven ability to get results.
• Good knowledge of raw material transaction processing and reporting
• Possess knowledge of SAP B1 Operations
• Self-driven and result oriented
