Firsthand Operator at African Industries Group (AIG)

Key Responsibilities

• Take the scrap charge as per the supervisor's instruction.
• During the process do the slag off in the appropriate time.
• After every scrap charge ensure scrap pressing to improve the melting process.
• As and when Melter man required to take the sample.
• Ensure compliance with safety protocols and regulations, and wearing PPE.

Qualifications and Requirement

• High School Diploma or equivalent; additional technical training is a plus.
• 3 - 5 years of work experience.
• Proven experience as a Firsthand Operator in a steel manufacturing company or related industries.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality.
