Job Summary

We are seeking a proactive and highly disciplined Fire Fighter to ensure fire safety, emergency preparedness, and protection of lives, property, and company assets within our furniture manufacturing facility. The ideal candidate will be responsible for fire prevention, emergency response, safety inspections, and maintaining firefighting equipment. Firefighters typically respond to emergencies, conduct fire safety inspections, maintain firefighting equipment, and support emergency preparedness activities.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct routine fire safety inspections across the factory and office premises.
• Monitor compliance with fire safety regulations and company safety policies.
• Inspect, maintain, and test fire extinguishers, hydrants, alarms, and other firefighting equipment.
• Respond promptly to fire incidents and emergency situations.
• Organize and coordinate fire drills and evacuation exercises.
• Identify fire hazards and recommend corrective actions.
• Maintain accurate records of inspections, incidents, and safety activities.
• Train employees on fire prevention, emergency procedures, and safe evacuation practices.

Requirements

• Minimum of OND/HND or relevant qualification.
• Certification in Fire Safety, Fire Fighting, or Occupational Health & Safety is an advantage.
• Previous experience as a Fire Fighter, Fire Marshal, Safety Officer, or similar role.
• Good knowledge of firefighting equipment and emergency response procedures.
• Physically fit and capable of handling emergency situations.
• Strong communication and reporting skills.
