    Fine Arts Teacher

    • The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality Fine Arts instruction, developing students’ practical and creative abilities, and preparing students effectively for WAEC, NECO, and other external examinations.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Plan and deliver engaging theoretical and practical Fine Arts lessons.
    • Prepare students comprehensively for WAEC, NECO, and other external examinations.
    • Provide practical training and guidance in drawing, painting, design, composition, and other areas of Fine Arts.
    • Familiarise students with external examination requirements, standards, and practical expectations.
    • Assess students’ work and provide constructive feedback to improve their performance.
    • Maintain a stimulating learning environment that encourages creativity and artistic expression.
    • Monitor students’ progress and provide targeted support to improve examination outcomes.

    Requirements

    • Bachelor’s degree or relevant qualification in Fine Arts, Visual Arts, Art Education, or a related discipline.
    • Proven experience teaching Fine Arts at the secondary/college level.
    • Must have experience preparing students for WAEC, NECO, or other external examinations.
    • Strong knowledge of Fine Arts examination requirements, particularly practical components.
    • Demonstrable ability to prepare students for and achieve strong results in external examinations.
    • Excellent communication, classroom management, and practical art skills.
    • Ability to work effectively on a part-time basis.
