As the Financial Controller, you will provide strategic financial leadership by overseeing financial planning, reporting, compliance, internal controls, budgeting, and treasury management.
You will ensure the organization's financial health while supporting business growth and operational excellence within a fast-paced FMCG environment.
Responsibilities
Lead financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting processes to support strategic business decisions and organizational growth
Oversee financial controls, statutory reporting, tax compliance, audits, and regulatory requirements while ensuring adherence to corporate governance standards
Manage cash flow, treasury operations, working capital, and financial risk to optimize business performance and profitability
Partner with executive leadership and cross-functional teams to drive cost optimization, financial performance, and operational efficiency across the business
Lead and develop the finance team while strengthening internal controls, financial systems, and reporting processes
Requirements
Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field; MBA or Master's degree is mandatory
Professional qualification such as ICAN, ACA, ACCA, or equivalent is mandatory
Minimum of 15 years of progressive finance experience, with significant experience in the FMCG sector
Strong expertise in financial reporting, budgeting, treasury, internal controls, ERP systems, tax, and statutory compliance
Excellent leadership, analytical, strategic planning, and stakeholder management skills
