We are seeking a Financial Controller to oversee financial operations, ensure compliance, and support business growth. This role requires strong leadership and analytical skills to manage financial activities effectively.
Responsibilities
Oversight function of the department
Preparation of monthly and yearly accounts
Preparation of budgets and budgetary control.
Preparation of Financial Analysis report
Rendition of CBN returns.
Liaise with the external auditors during the year end audit
Ensuring the bank meets the statutory deadlines like tax
Summarizing budget trends, and reporting variances
Develop and adhere to policies and procedures.
Any other task that would be assigned.
Requirements
The candidate must have a BSc in Finance, Accounting, or Economics, providing a strong foundation in financial management.
The candidate must have over five years of experience in a financial leadership role, bringing valuable expertise and insight.
The candidate must have a deep understanding of financial and accounting procedures to ensure accuracy and compliance.
The candidate must possess strong leadership, teamwork, and interpersonal skills to drive collaboration and efficiency.
The candidate must have excellent analytical and numerical abilities for strategic financial decision-making.
The candidate must have keen attention to detail, with the ability to identify and correct numerical errors effectively.
