Responsibilities

What duties will you have?

• Collecting, preparing, and organizing physical and digital documentation for auditing processes.
• Identifying key areas and issues for further investigation and analysis.
• Assessing core business competencies and valuations.
• Verifying documents, figures, and account details for auditing.
• Compiling and presenting findings in written and verbal forms to the Head of Internal Audit and Enterprise Risk Manager
• Recommending and advising on subsequent actions and processes to be undertaken by the company
• Perform internal audit function on financial records and operational activities
• Investigate discrepancies discovered during auditing process
• Recommending new methods to improve internal control over financial reporting and operating efficiency
• Support in the development of auditing programme to address risks and evaluate regulatory requirement
• Contribute to the safeguarding of corporate assets
• Support to assess the adequacy of internal control and document recommendations to improve internal control functions.

Job Requirements

• Minimum of Second Class Upper / Upper Credit for BSc/HND holders respectively in Accounting/Finance with three years’ cognate experience. Master’s degree, ACA or any other relevant professional certification will be an added advantage.
• Must be between 25-30 years.
• At least 3 years’ experience as a financial accountant, financial analyst or business accountant.
• A thorough understanding of key areas such as risk, compliance, and financial legislation.
• In-depth knowledge of accounting software
• Male Preferably
