Finance Operations Officer at Farm Warehouse

Overview of the Role:

• We are looking for a Finance Operations Officer who would handle the day-to-day financial and operational activities of the company. You will ensure accuracy, compliance and efficiency in all financial transactions. The role involves managing accounts payable and receivable, monitoring cash flow, supporting payroll processing and maintaining proper financial records. The ideal candidate will be detail oriented, analytical and capable of balancing both financial and operational responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee daily financial operations including payments, recievable, reconciliations and cash management.
• Maintain accurate financial records, ensure timely posting of transactions and maintaining ledgers
• Handle payroll processing i.e payment of salary, benefits and statutory deductions timely and efficiently.
• Monitor and track cash flow to support business operations and advise management on liquidity positions.
• Ensuring compliance with tax, financial and statutory regulations as well as internal policies.
• Providing management with reports on revenues, expenses, cash flow and profitabilty
• Ensure proper approval and authorization of payments and expenditures
• Prepare monthly bank reconciliation statements
• Ensure compliance with the company’s expense and procurement policies.
• Overseeing tax planning, audits, and financial risk management.
• Assist in budget preparation and financial reports.

Qualifications and Skills:

Education:

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or related field (MBA/CFA is a plus)

Experience:

• Minimum 2-4 years of hands-on experience in Finance, Investment or Corporate finance
• Experience with ERP and Financial reporting systems (e.g SAP, Oracle, Power BI)

Skills:

• Proficiency in financial modeling, forecasting and budgeting
• Advanced proficiency in Excel
• Excellent presentation, communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
• High attention to detail and strong organizational skills

Certifications (if any):

• ICAN or ACCA
