Finance & Operations Manager at Excel Health Med

Role Overview

• The Finance & Operations Manager will be responsible for managing all financial activities at Excel Health. You will ensure accurate tracking of revenue, expenses, and profitability while helping us make data-dhttps://excelhealthmed.com/jobs/finance-operations-manager-part-time-remote/e in a startup environment where structure, clarity, and financial discipline are critical to success.

Key Responsibilities

Revenue Management

• Track all income from consultations, home care services, and future subscriptions
• Ensure accurate recording of all payments and prevent revenue leakage

Expense Control

• Monitor staff payments, nurse payouts, tech costs, and marketing spend
• Ensure spending aligns with approved budgets

Financial Reporting

• Prepare weekly revenue vs expense summaries
• Deliver monthly profit and loss reports
• Create simple dashboards for leadership decision-making

Payment Systems & Processes

• Support setup of payment gateways (Paystack / Flutterwave)
• Ensure smooth and seamless patient payment flow
• Reconcile all transactions regularly

Pricing & Profitability Support

• Help evaluate pricing of services
• Analyse profitability per consultation and home care visit
• Support financial decision-making for growth

Financial Controls & Compliance

• Maintain strong financial records and accountability systems
• Prevent fraud and financial leakage
• Ensure every transaction is properly documented

Who We’re Looking For

Required Skills & Experience

• Background in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• Experience working with startups or small businesses (preferred)
• Strong knowledge of Excel / Google Sheets
• Understanding of basic bookkeeping and financial reporting

Desirable Experience:

• Previous experience in managing healthcare related finances
