    Finance Officer

    Overview

    • We seek a meticulous Finance Officer to oversee financial operations, including accounts payable/receivable, analysis, reporting, and budgeting.
    • This role ensures accurate records, regulatory compliance, and supports decision-making. If you have strong attention to detail and a passion for finance, apply now.

    Responsibilities

    • Assist in the preparation of financial statements, reports, and budgets, ensuring accuracy and adherence to accounting standards and regulations.
    • Conduct financial analysis and variance analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement.
    • Support the budgeting and forecasting process, including gathering data and assisting in budget preparation and analysis.
    • Maintain accurate financial records, including general ledger entries, journal entries, and reconciliations.
    • Collaborate with other departments like operations, human resources, and procurement to provide financial guidance and support decision-making.
    • Stay updated on changes in accounting regulations, standards, and best practices, ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations.

    Requirements

    • B.Sc /  HND qualification required.
    • Minimum of 6 years of relevant experience in financial management or accounting within the financial services industry.
    • Possession of ICAN, ACCA, or another business/professional qualification is an added advantage.
    • Experience in managing accounts payable, accounts receivable, budgeting, and financial reporting.
    • Excellent analytical skills to interpret financial data and derive insights.
    • Familiarity with regulatory requirements to ensure compliance with financial regulations.
    • Effective communication skills for clear and concise financial reporting to stakeholders.
