Remuneration: ₦300,000 – ₦350,000 (Net)
Reports To: Head of Finance

Job Summary:

The Finance Officer will be responsible for managing day-to-day financial operations, including budgeting, reporting, reconciliation, and compliance. The ideal candidate must be proactive, detail-oriented, and possess strong analytical and financial management skills. Prior experience in the fintech industry will be an added advantage.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and maintain accurate financial records in line with accounting standards and internal controls.
• Manage budgeting and forecasting processes to support organizational objectives.
• Perform regular bank, accounts payable, and accounts receivable reconciliations.
• Support the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and management reports.
• Monitor cash flow, expenditures, and financial performance indicators.
• Ensure compliance with statutory regulations, tax obligations, and audit requirements.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams to improve financial processes and operational efficiency.
• Identify opportunities for cost optimization and financial performance improvement.

Qualifications & Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a closely related field.
• ICAN/ACCA certification is an added advantage
• 3–5 years relevant experience in a finance or accounting function.
• Experience in the fintech or technology sector is an added advantage.
• Proficiency in accounting software and strong Excel skills.
• Excellent analytical, communication, and organizational skills.
• High level of integrity, accuracy, and attention to detail.
