    Finance Officer

    Role Description

    • We are seeking a Finance Officer to join our growing team.
    • The Finance Officer will be responsible for overseeing financial operations, tracking student payments, preparing financial statements, ensuring compliance with financial regulations, and providing actionable insights through data analysis to support strategic decision-making.
    • This role is based in Ibadan.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Prepare and analyze financial statements, reports, and budgets.
    • Manage and oversee daily financial operations, including transactions, reconciliations, and cash flow.
    • Track and record student payments, ensuring accuracy and timely updates to financial records.
    • Monitor outstanding balances and coordinate with the admissions or admin team for follow-up on pending payments.
    • Ensure compliance with financial laws, regulations, and internal policies.
    • Conduct financial forecasting and risk analysis to support strategic planning.
    • Develop strategies to enhance financial performance and minimize risks.
    • Collaborate with the HR and Admin Manager on payroll processing and benefits management.
    • Provide regular financial updates and reports to management.

    Qualifications:

    • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
    • Proven experience in financial management, reporting, and analysis.
    • Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
    • Proficiency in accounting software and tools (e.g., QuickBooks, Excel).
    • Familiarity with payment tracking and reconciliation processes.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks.
    • Knowledge of Nigerian financial regulations and compliance requirements is a plus.
