About the Role

• We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Account Officer to join our team in a fast-paced FMCG modern trade environment.
• The ideal candidate must have solid accounting experience and be proficient in using QuickBooks (online) for daily financial operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day accounting operations including receivables, payables, and reconciliations.
• Maintain accurate financial records and ensure compliance with company policies.
• Prepare and analyze financial reports for management review.
• Monitor sales, collections, and inventory transactions in line with FMCG operations.
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes.
• Liaise with external auditors, banks, and tax authorities when required.

Requirements

• B.Sc. / HND in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 1 - 5 years proven experience as an Account Officer, preferably in an FMCG/modern trade environment.
• Strong knowledge of QuickBooks Online and MS Excel.
• Good knowledge of financial regulations and standards.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
• High attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Exposure to a dynamic FMCG modern trade business.
