Finance Manger at Gmart Alliance

The Financial Accountant is responsible for managing financial transactions, preparing financial reports, and ensuring the accuracy of financial records. The successful candidate will work closely with the accounting team, as well as with other departments within the organization to ensure the financial processes run efficiently.

Responsibilities

• Manage and process financial transactions, ensuring that records are accurate, complete and up-to-date
• Prepare and analyze financial reports on a regular basis, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements
• Monitor financial transactions to ensure that they comply with financial policies and regulations
• Prepare and submit tax returns, ensuring that all tax payments are accurate and are submitted before deadlines
• Assist with budgeting and forecasting activities, providing financial analysis and insights to support decision-making
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure that all financial data is accurate and up-to-date, and to identify opportunities to streamline financial processes
• Ensure that financial information is kept confidential and secure, and that all financial systems are maintained and updated regularly

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in accounting, finance, or a related field
• CPA certification preferred
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in financial accounting or a related field
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices
• Experience with financial reporting and analysis
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other accounting software
• Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills
