Finance Manager at Zabira Technologies

Job Summary

• We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Finance Manager to oversee and optimize the financial operations of Zabira.
• The successful candidate will play a critical role in managing financial planning, compliance, and reporting, as well as supporting strategic decision-making in the rapidly evolving blockchain and digital asset industry.

Key Responsibilities

Financial Planning and Analysis:

• Develop and implement financial strategies to support the company’s goals and growth in the blockchain space.
• Prepare and analyze budgets, forecasts, and financial performance reports.
• Conduct financial modeling to assess investment opportunities in blockchain and digital asset projects.

Accounting and Reporting:

• Ensure accurate and timely preparation of financial statements in compliance with regulatory standards.
• Maintain proper accounting records, including the management of blockchain-based transaction records and reconciliations.
• Oversee the preparation and submission of tax filings and compliance documents.

Risk Management and Compliance:

• Monitor and manage financial risks associated with digital asset trading and blockchain operations.
• Ensure compliance with financial regulations, anti-money laundering (AML) laws, and other applicable standards.
• Work closely with the Compliance and Risk Management team to address regulatory challenges.

Treasury and Asset Management:

• Manage Zabira’s cash flow, treasury operations, and reserves, ensuring liquidity for digital asset trading.
• Optimize the allocation and management of digital assets held in wallets and exchanges.

Stakeholder Engagement:

• Collaborate with internal teams, including product, operations, and marketing, to align financial strategies with business objectives.
• Liaise with external stakeholders such as auditors, banks, and regulatory bodies.

Strategic Initiatives:

• Support the evaluation and implementation of blockchain-based financial solutions, such as tokenization, DeFi products, or NFTs.
• Analyze trends in the blockchain industry to identify opportunities for growth and innovation.

Key Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field (MBA or CPA/ACCA certification is a plus).
• Proven experience as a Finance Manager, preferably in a fintech, blockchain, or digital asset company.
• Strong understanding of blockchain technology, cryptocurrencies, and digital asset markets.
• Proficiency in financial software and tools; familiarity with blockchain wallet systems and ledger technology is an advantage.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal abilities to work effectively in a fast-paced and collaborative environment.
