We are seeking a Finance Manager to report to the CFO and lead all aspects of financial control and process improvement.
You will be responsible for all financial systems including the selection and implementation of an ERP and build upon existing automation and processes.
Responsibilities
Ensure absolute integrity of all accounting records and reporting
Review, overhaul and document all processes within the finance function
Improve and build out IFRS9 provisioning model
Responsibility for Financial Systems including the selection and implementation of an ERP/Accounting system
Integrity of all financial records within Mambu (core banking
Review and improve product accounting on Mambu ; train the team on Mambu
Review, overhaul and document all processes within the Finance Function
Develop and implement models for the deferral of direct selling costs and deferred fee income
Set up SPV and Accounting for Securitization Business
Implement a risk and control monitor for the finance function
Drive automation and continuous process improvement
Requirements
Minimum 7 years’ relevant experience with reputable organizations
Prior experience in the banking industry is required
Experience in the deployment of SAP is required
Professionally qualified (ICAN & ACA, ACCA or equivalent)
Minimum of B.Sc. / HND in Business Administration, Accounting or any other related field
MBA or M.Sc. in Finance, Accounting or any related discipline is a plus
