Finance Manager at Moneyfield Microfinance Bank Limited

Job Summary

Primarily responsible for driving growth of risk asset with SME customers as well as maintaining client relationship.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities

• Performance Reporting 
• Assist in preparation and updating of Fixed Assets register and schedule
• Monthly depreciation and Amortization 
• Ensure the integrity of the general ledgers
• Preparation of Rent and other relevant schedules 
• Assist in Monthly review of bank statements 
• Assist in Preparation of Financial statements and reports
• Assist in Treasury Management
• Assist in budget preparation and financial planning 
• Maintain accurate financial records, including general ledger entries, accounts payable, accounts receivable.
• Support the finance team in internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation and information.
• Assist in preparation and rendition of returns
• Monthly filing of VAT and WHT 
• Ensure timely remittance of regulatory deductions
• Any other responsibilities as may be assigned by the Head, Financial Control

QUALIFICATION, EXPERIENCE, SKILLS & COMPETENCIES

1. HND/B.Sc. degree in Finance/Accounting discipline from a reputable institution.
2. ACA/ACCA
3. Minimum of 5 years of Finance/Accounting experience in a similar Institution.
4. Excellent interpersonal skills, attentive to detail.
5. Effective negotiation, written, and verbal communication skills.
6. Ability to work in a team environment.
