Finance Manager at CSAdvance

Job Description

• Develop financial goals and objectives for the team
• Prepare and Monitor budgets to ensure that spending occurs as planned and that variances are anticipated, noted, and corrected
• Provide monthly financial reporting and analysis of financial statements
• Manage account payables and receivables activities
• Prepare draft audit accounts and be a liaison with the externally appointed auditor
• Prepare monthly and quarterly management accounts for the organization including reports to the board of directors and the regulators such as Central Bank of Nigeria
• Monitor and manage payments and invoice payments
• Act as the main point of contact for addressing any inquiries and questions related to financial operations
• Manage payroll, pension scheme, and employee benefits
• Liaise with the tax authorities such as FIRS, LIRS on sundry  tax issues
• Develop operational initiatives to achieve financial goals
• Develop financial policies and procedures for operational efficiency
• Ensure that financial operational activities are executed and delivered as per the standards set by the company
• Monitor and manage expenses within the established budget
• Reconcile monthly activity, generate year-end reports, and fulfil tax related requirements
• Keep abreast with all government legislations and CBN policies that may affect operations and advise management on it

Requirements

• Minimum of First degree in Accounting, Finance
• 5-8 Years’ relevant experience in a finance house of which four should be in a managerial capacity
• Relevant professional qualification e.g. ICAN, ACCA
