Job Summary

• The NYSC Finance Intern will provide support to the finance department in managing day-to-day financial activities.
• This role offers hands-on experience in accounting, financial analysis, budgeting, and financial reporting, contributing to the company’s financial operations.
• The intern will assist in maintaining financial records, preparing reports, and ensuring compliance with financial regulations.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in preparing and maintaining accurate financial records and reports.
• Support the finance team in handling accounts payable and receivable.
• Assist in processing invoices, payments, and expense reports.
• Conduct data entry for financial transactions and ensure proper documentation.
• Assist in the preparation of financial statements, budgets, and forecasts.
• Perform reconciliations of bank statements, accounts, and financial reports.
• Support the preparation of tax returns, audits, and other compliance activities.
• Participate in the review of financial data and identify trends or discrepancies.
• Assist with financial analysis to support decision-making processes.
• Ensure adherence to company policies, financial regulations, and internal controls.
• Perform any other duties as assigned by the finance team.

Qualifications and Skills

• Bachelor’s Degree or HND in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
• Basic understanding of accounting principles and financial processes.
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other financial software.
• Attention to detail and accuracy in handling financial data.
• Corp members only(preferably Batch B/C 2024).
