As a Finance Associate, you will be expected to perform the following duties
Coordinate month-end close process and ensure all general ledger accounts are accurately closed with supporting schedules for all balance sheet accounts
Upload and post bank transactions on QuickBooks
Perform Homemade outlet revenue reconciliation and Marketplace, B2B and B2C reconciliation (matching vendors payout with revenue)
Perform End of Month (EOM) Revenue reconciliation
Perform Payroll Computation
Perform EOM Inventory reconciliation and closing
Prepare P or L report across all businesses
Job Requirements
Bachelor's degree or HND in Accounting
Must be a Chartered Accountant
Must have at least 2 years proven experience in a Finance or Accounting role in a mid-sized company.
Strong understanding of accounting and financial principles.
Excellent attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate financial records.
Proficiency in using Accounting software and databases.
Strong organizational and communication skills.
Note:
You must currently live within Lagos.
The work mode is hybrid, however, you will be working mostly remote (only required to meet physically when there is a need for it).
If you already own a laptop, that is an advantage.
The nature of this role will require you to provide support during public holidays and on Saturdays (when required).
