FInance Associate at Capsgain Solutions

We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Finance Associate to join our team at Capsgain Solutions, an e-commerce business based in Nigeria. The Financial Associate will be responsible for managing all financial transactions, incoming money, stocks and expenses for the company. They will provide weekly sales performance reports, analyzing conversion rates, and advising on strategies to achieve revenue goals.

Responsibilities

• Complete financial accounting and forecasting
• Manage and oversee all financial transactions, including invoicing, payments, and cash flow management.
• Prepare weekly sales performance reports, analyzing conversion rates and identifying areas for improvement.
• Develop and implement financial strategies to achieve revenue goals, and advise the owner on how to quickly reach sales targets.
• Monitor and manage stocks, expenses, and employee payroll.
• Ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial records, and prepare regular financial reports for the owner.
• Assist in the preparation of financial documents to attract lenders, and develop future business models to increase revenue.
• Collaborate with other teams within the company to identify and address financial issues and opportunities.
• Ensure compliance with local financial regulations and laws.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
• At least 3 years of experience in financial management, preferably in e-commerce or retail.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and implement effective financial strategies.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with other teams and stakeholders.
• Proficient in financial software and tools, with experience in accounting software such as QuickBooks.
• Knowledge of local financial regulations and laws in Nigeria.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Fluency in Microsoft Office suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.)
• Detail-oriented and analytical
