• We are seeking a meticulous and driven Finance and Account Manager to join our dynamic team. This role is vital to the financial health of our organization and plays a key part in ensuring the accuracy, compliance, and strategic alignment of our financial operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining detailed accounting records, preparing timely financial statements, and coordinating with key external partners including auditors, tax consultants, and regulators.
• As part of our finance team, you will not only oversee core accounting processes but also contribute to the development of robust financial control systems and strategic financial initiatives.

Key responsibilities:

• Maintaining accounting ledgers.
• Preparing monthly and quarterly management accounts.
• Preparing Full Year Financial accounts.
• Co-ordinating with external auditors for the preparation of audited financial statements.
• Co-ordinating with Tax consultant for the preparation and filling of tax accounts
• Co-ordinating with legal counsel for the preparation and filling of CAC accounts.
• Preparing and filling monthly, quarterly, and annual returns for CBN.

Strategic priorities:

• Contributing to the development of financial control procedures.
• Contribute to the Corporate Finance and Strategy Objectives of the company.

Experience and skills

• Minimum Educational Requirement: BSc (strictly in accounting)

Candidate Experience:

• Mid to senior-Level
• Preferable previous experience with a CBN regulated company.
• Must have relevant certification in accounting.
• A minimum of 4years working experience as an accountant.

Key skills:

• Intermediate proficiency in use of Microsoft Excel.
• Intermediate proficiency in the use of Microsoft word and PowerPoint.
• Good communication skills- both written and oral.
• High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
