Finance Analyst at Verstand Resources Limited

Key Responsibilities
Financial Management & Reporting:

• Develop and implement financial strategies and policies to support business objectives.
• Prepare and present comprehensive financial statements, including:
  • Income Statement: Revenue and cost breakdown by streams and categories.
  • Cashflow Statement.
  • Balance Sheet.
  • Provider Analysis & Performance.
  • Marketing Analysis & Performance.
  • Management Account.
  • Inventory Statement.
  • Bank Reconciliation Statement.
  • KPI Dashboard.
  • Analysis & Recommendation Insight Report.
• Maintain weekly revenue forecasts based on client schedules to enable informed decision-making.
• Collaborate with the front office to ensure daily sales reconciliation reports accurately reflect services provided or products sold.
• Conduct variance analysis to measure performance against budgets and forecasts.

Payroll Management:

• Coordinate payroll processes in collaboration with the HR department, ensuring accurate and timely employee compensation.

Cost Optimization:

• Identify and implement cost-saving measures to improve profitability.
• Monitor and control operational costs, including inventory, consumables, and vendor expenses.

Compliance & Collaboration:

• Ensure compliance with all financial regulations, statutory filings, and reporting requirements.
• Develop and maintain relationships with vendors, suppliers, clients, banks, auditors, tax authorities, and other regulatory bodies.
• Collaborate with other departments, including HR, Inventory & Procurement, and Front Office, to align financial strategies with business objectives.

Requirements

• Candidates should possess a Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field.
• Professional certification required (ACA, ACCA, ANAN)
• Minimum of 4 years of experience in financial management or analysis.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data.
• Proficiency in financial software and tools. (Zoho Books, Excel, Quickbooks)
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
