Job Description

• We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Finance & Accounts Officer with expertise in financial operations, import/export processes, and reconciliation. The ideal candidate must possess strong analytical skills and the ability to manage multiple financial activities efficiently.

Key Responsibilities
Foreign Trade & Banking:

• Handle M-Form Opening & NXP Opening processes.
• Ensure smooth import clearing & duty payment processes.
• Follow up on refund processes from shipping companies.
• Track shipments and submit ECD documents to banks.

Financial & Accounting Operations:

• Perform bank & cash reconciliations for multiple accounts.
• Prepare sales invoices for monthly VAT returns.
• Manage petty cash vouchers and oversee cash-related transactions.
• Post payment entries (petty cash, bank payments, and receipts).
• Handle cheque payments and submit financial documents to banks.

Reporting & Documentation:

• Prepare daily sales waybills & invoices for approval.
• Generate weekly aging reports for food & whiskey sales.

Qualifications & Skills Required

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Minimum 4 years of cognate experience in finance and accounting.
• Strong knowledge of import/export processes and banking transactions.
• Proficiency in financial reporting, reconciliation, and tax compliance.
• Hands-on experience with ERP systems and accounting software.
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Prior experience in import/export finance.
• Strong understanding of regulatory requirements and compliance.
