Job Summary

• We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Finance & Accounts Officer to support our financial operations in Kano.
• The role involves managing daily accounting activities, financial reporting, and ensuring compliance with internal controls and statutory requirements.
• The ideal candidate will have 2–3 years of hands-on experience in accounting and finance, with strong analytical and organizational skills.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day financial transactions including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger postings.
• Prepare accurate financial reports, reconciliations, and monthly/quarterly closing statements.
• Support budget preparation, cash flow forecasting, and variance analysis.
• Ensure compliance with tax regulations, PAYE, VAT, WHT, and other statutory deductions.
• Maintain proper documentation of financial records and ensure timely filing of reports.
• Assist in internal and external audits by providing required information and documentation.
• Monitor bank transactions and prepare monthly bank reconciliations.
• Support management with financial insights to guide decision-making.
• Uphold financial policies, procedures, and internal controls.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or related fields.
• Professional qualification in progress (ICAN, ACCA, or ANAN) is an added advantage.
• 2–3 years of experience in Finance & Accounting (preferably in FMCG, manufacturing, or corporate environment).
• Strong knowledge of Nigerian tax laws and financial regulations.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage, Tally, or SAP).
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
• High attention to detail, integrity, and confidentiality.

Salary
N250,000 - N300,000 Monthly.
