Field Worker III at IITA - International Institute of Tropical Agriculture

DUTIES:

• Prepare and distribute seeds to partners.
• Participate in research data collection, entry and processing.
• Assist in general field maintenance and post-harvest processing.
• Maintain working areas in a clean and organized manner.
• Support in post-harvest operations and collection of rice samples.
• Keep proper records of harvested breeding materials
• Perform any other job-related task as may be assigned by the Supervisors.

QUALIFICATION:

• O’level with a minimum of two (3) years’ experience performing a similar role in a wellstructured environment.

COMPETENCIES:

• The ideal candidate must:
• Have good communication skills (writing, reading, and speaking).
• Ability to use basic Microsoft software (word, excel, PowerPoint).
• Have the ability to work with little or no supervision.
