Field Sales Agent at Carbon Nigeria

Responsibilities

• Acquire new customers through direct field outreach and merchant visits.
• Meet monthly disbursement and collection targets.
• Maintain portfolio quality within acceptable PAR levels.
• Build relationships with market associations and community leaders.
• Identify and onboard SME clients for Carbon Business products.
• Conduct basic credit assessments for loan applicants.
• Submit daily activity reports via the BDO app.
• Follow all KYC/AML procedures for customer onboarding.
• Provide market intelligence and competitor feedback to the team.

Requirements

• OND, HND, or B.Sc. in any discipline.
• 1–3 years of experience in sales, microfinance, or field operations.
• Strong communication skills in English and a local language.
• Proficiency in using a smartphone.
• Willingness to work in the field daily.
• Must be based in Lagos.

Nice to Have:

• Experience with mobile lending platforms.
• Knowledge of the local market territory.
• An existing network in target communities.
• Experience with Taktile or credit scoring tools.
