Field / Project Engineer at ENG Rypac Limited (HY Group Company)

Job Summary

• The Field Support Engineer as assigned, will oversee and supervise projects from beginning to end within the operations department in line with IPI Powertech Nigeria’s business goals.

Responsibilities

• Install, commission, maintain, and repair complex technical systems in the field
• Conduct feasibility studies, economic analyses, municipal and regional traffic studies, environmental impact studies or other investigations
• Supervise technicians, technologists and other engineers and review and approve designs, calculations and cost estimates
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical problems
• Support customers with their technical needs
• Provide technical training and support to other engineers and technicians
• Manage and direct the work of other field engineers and technicians
• Prepare and present technical reports and proposals
• Keep up to date with the latest technical developments in the field
• Ensure that all work is completed safely and in compliance with all applicable regulations
• Maintain accurate records of all work performed
• Provide technical support to sales and marketing teams

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related field from an accredited university
• Must have COREN certificate
• 8 years of experience in a field engineering role, preferably in a multinational company
• Strong knowledge of the technical systems that will be serviced
• Experience with a variety of field engineering tools and equipment
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Proficiency in English, both written and spoken
• Willingness to travel internationally.
