Field Operations Engineer at Merit Telecoms

Job Details

• Utilize RMS tools and software to track and optimize diesel consumption per telecom tower
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement performance optimization strategies based on RMS data analysis.
• Provide technical expertise in diesel generator operations, including maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs.
• Oversee routine inspections and preventive maintenance on diesel generators to ensure proper functioning and longevity.
• Diagnose and resolve complex technical issues related to diesel generators in a timely manner.
• Maintain accurate records of RMS data, generator maintenance activities, and performance metrics
• Identify and prioritize TowerCo field operations maintenance and power maintenance
• Support department activities as part of larger Power and Recovery team.
• Understand electric system components and activities, Contact personnel and departments to resolve issues.
• Check power system reliability to maximize performance level..
• Analyze Systems Operations data and systems. Attend to all sites to resolve any power issues and restore system.
• To provide a remote and on-site diagnosis of faults from the office via remote access and customer liaison.
• Check power system reliability to maximize site\\\'s performance level.
• Contact personnel and departments to resolve all power related issues.
• Support department activities as part of larger power and recovery team.
• Identify maintenance priorities and handle maintenance and Engineering department\\\'s

REQUIREMENT:

• HND/B.Eng in Elect-Elect, Mechanical Engineering or Computer Engineering. 
• Salary Budget: N200K Net.
