• Responsible for Splicing , Route patrol/protection are carried out.
• Responsible for Maintenance of underground fiber cables
• Trouble Shooting of OLT, ONT, Power Testing of Fiber Optics
• Must have capacity to resolve, repair and install fiber optics systems, ensuring that they work properly.
• Preparation of feasibility reports, technical surveys, Testing reports
• Lay underground cable directly in trenches or string it through poles.
• Generates daily report to head of Operations.
• Installation and configuration of FTTH device (ONT)
• Installation and maintenance of all network facilities to ensure less downtime and
• create trouble free performance transmission.
• Troubleshooting of OLT, ONT, Power Testing of Fiber Optics.
• Hand on experience of GPON migration from voice to data or vice-versa, sometimes dual configuration on single ONT.
• Lias with HUAWEI Team for port synchronization of ONT and OLT
• Troubleshoot and resolve fibre network faults within the stipulated down time and must meet up with SLA and 2 hours of MTTR given to us.
• Ensure all fiber cable activities such as Laying of Fibers, Construction of Ducts, Fiber Testing.
• Execute premises cabling and take care of the underground and underwater cabling requirements.
