Fiber Installation Technician
- Job Type Full Time
- Qualification BA/BSc/HND , OND
- Experience 2 years
- Location Lagos
- Job Field Engineering / Technical
Key Responsibilities
- Assist fiber installation teams with day-to-day deployment tasks.
- Lay and manage High-Density Polyetgylene(HDPE) ducts to protect and organize cables.
- Remove interlocks and other physical obstructions to facilitate smooth cable routing.
- Provide on-site field support for installations, maintenance and troubleshooting activities.
- Follow all company and industry safety protocols during field work.
- Accurately document all work done, including cables paths, duct layouts and challenges encountered.
Requirements
- OND, HND or BSC in Telecommunications, Electrical Engineering or a related technical field.
- 2 years hands on experience in fiber optic cable installation on telecommunications
- Strong diagnostic and problem solving skills
- Must be physically fit.
