    Farm Venture Executive

    Job Purpose

    • To coordinate farm gate sales operations, agricultural business activities, farm administrative processes, product accountability, customer engagement, and revenue generation in alignment with the Agropark’s production and business targets.

    Key Responsibilities
    Farm Gate Sales & Business Operations:

    • Coordinate daily farm gate sales activities for crops, spices, processed products, and agricultural outputs.
    • Ensure proper product availability, pricing coordination, and sales documentation.
    • Support the achievement of approved revenue and sales targets.
    • Monitor customer demand and market trends to improve product sales performance.

    Farm Administrative Coordination:

    • Maintain proper farm operational records, documentation, and activity reports.
    • Coordinate administrative support relating to farm operations and sales activities.
    • Monitor field operational schedules, product movement records, and staff activity reports where assigned.
    • Ensure proper documentation of product inflow, outflow, and customer transactions.
    • Support compliance with internal operational procedures and reporting structures.

    Product Accountability & Inventory Coordination:

    • Coordinate product movement from harvest, storage, and sales points.
    • Work closely with Store and Post Harvest Units to ensure accurate stock accountability.
    • Monitor product handling to reduce wastage, losses, or discrepancies.
    • Ensure all released products are properly documented and reconciled.

    Revenue & Customer Relationship Management:

    • Drive agricultural product sales and customer engagement activities.
    • Maintain professional relationships with buyers, aggregators, distributors, and walk-in customers.
    • Handle customer inquiries and feedback professionally.
    • Support market expansion and customer retention initiatives.

    Reporting & Documentation:

    • Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly sales and operational reports.
    • Maintain accurate records of transactions, customer purchases, and product movement.
    • Support Finance and Account Units during reconciliation and verification exercises.
    • Submit periodic operational and sales performance reports to the Agric Business Executive.

    Coordination with Production & Operations Units:

    • Liaise with Crop Production Units to align product availability with market demand.
    • Support operational planning relating to harvest timing and product distribution.
    • Coordinate with Logistics and Procurement Units where necessary.

    Compliance & Internal Control:

    • Ensure compliance with approved operational processes, pricing structures, and internal controls.
    • Maintain transparency and accountability in all operational and sales activities.
    • Escalate irregularities, operational concerns, or product discrepancies to Management.

    Performance Indicators (KPIs)

    • Farm gate sales revenue performance
    • Accuracy of operational and sales records
    • Product accountability and stock reconciliation
    • Customer satisfaction and retention
    • Compliance with operational procedures
    • Administrative reporting efficiency.

    Requirements
    Educational & Experience Requirements:

    • Minimum of an OND / HND B.Sc. Degree in Agriculture, Agribusiness, Business Administration, Agricultural Economics, or related field.
    • Experience in farm administration, agricultural sales, or agribusiness operations is an added advantage.
