Farm Operations Manager at Farmyad Enterprises

Responsibilities

• Manageoperations of a farm
• Coordinate schedules and decide on the work activities of employees
• Organize and coordinate livestock production daily schedules, cordinateplanting, cultivating and crop harvesting activities
• Hire and manage farm personnel
• Understand business processes, using accounting & ticketing softwares
• Develop and build relationships with customers, vendors and suppliers
• Manage customer request and sales
• Monitor the quality and quantity of crops and maintain animal health
• Develop and maintain financial production records
• Perform administrative functions like preparing forcast budgets & supplies.
• Track and document farm practices of the operation
• Be responsible for employee compliance with health and safety regulations
• Manage the regular maintenance and repair on facility equipment
• Perform farming duties when required

Preferred Candidate

• Must have hands-on experience with livestock health management - ability to administer medications as appriopriate
• Must be willing to work with little or minimum supervision
• Must have good communication skills
• Must be able to live on Farm premises
• Must have good analytics skillset
• Must be willing to learn and open to growth
