Job Overview

• We are looking for a skilled and experienced Farm Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of our farm.
• The ideal candidate will have a strong background in agriculture and farm management, with the ability to lead a team of farm workers and ensure that all farm activities are carried out efficiently and effectively.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and manage all aspects of farm operations, including crop production, livestock management, equipment maintenance, and farm budgeting.
• Develop and implement strategies to increase crop yields and improve farm productivity.
• Ensure that all farm activities comply with relevant regulations and standards, including health and safety, environmental, and animal welfare regulations.
• Hire, train, and supervise farm workers, and ensure that all tasks are completed in a timely and efficient manner.
• Maintain accurate records of all farm activities, including crop yields, livestock production, and financial transactions.
• Manage the farm budget, including planning and forecasting expenses, and maximizing revenue opportunities.
• Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers, customers, and other stakeholders in the industry.
• Monitor market trends and adjust farm activities as necessary to ensure profitability and sustainability.
• Implement and maintain farm technology, including irrigation systems, precision agriculture tools, and other farm management software.

Qualifications

• Candidates should possess a First Degree or Higher National Diploma in related discipline.
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience managing a Farm with oil palm plantation will be an advantage.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
• Strong knowledge of crop production, livestock management, and farm technology.
• Proficient in the use of farm management software and other relevant technology.
• Flexibility to work long hours during peak seasons and to respond to emergencies as needed.
