Farm Attendant Job Summary.

We are looking for an experienced poultry/farm professional to join us as a Farm Attendant. In this position, we expect you to take on a variety of responsibilities around the farm.  You should have experience with various  poultry farming techniques, especially with piggery!!
You will be engaged in wide range of piggery operations and carry out daily production unit routines includings pig handling, feeding and treating disease and disposing of effluent.

Responsibilities, Roles and Functions:

• making sure that work progresses satisfactorily
• Following the plans for feeding and medications and ensuring they are available for the pigs according to schedule.
• Observing animals for signs of illness and giving medication when necessary.
• Performing facility maintenance.
• Checking for proper ventilation and temperature conditions.
• Assisting with problem births.
• Caring for and maintaining pigs. assisting with farrowing of pigs. moving and transporting pigs.
• Constant  inspection of the piggery, and also perform and  insuring clean water are provided for them.
• ensuring compliance with health and safety standards.
• keeping an up-to-date knowledge of diseases as well as medication routines for the pigs.

ensuring that the farm is profitable.
Requirements: 

Atleast 4 years experience working  in piggery farming,  or equivalent.
