Farm Account Officer at Amy Consulting

Key Responsibilities

• Record and maintain daily financial transactions, including income, expenses, payroll, and inventory costs.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
• Monitor farm budgets and track expenditures against approved budgets.
• Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable.
• Process staff salaries, wages, and other payments.
• Reconcile bank statements and maintain cash flow records.
• Keep accurate records of farm assets, equipment, livestock, crops, and inventory.
• Assist in preparing financial forecasts and budgets.
• Ensure compliance with tax regulations and financial reporting requirements.
• Support internal and external audits by providing required documentation.
• Analyze production costs and profitability of farm operations.
• Prepare management reports and provide financial recommendations.
• Maintain proper filing and documentation of financial records.

Key Requirements

• OND in Accounting
• Proven experience in accounting, preferably within agriculture, farming, or agribusiness.
• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
• Good communication and reporting skills.
