Family Physician at Reddington Hospital

Role Description

• This is a full-time on-site role for a Family Physician at Reddington Hospital located in Lagos.
• The Family Physician will be responsible for providing primary care, urgent care, and community health services to patients.
• The role involves diagnosing and treating medical conditions, conducting physical examinations, and prescribing medications.
• The Family Physician will also be responsible for managing patient records and collaborating with other healthcare professionals.

Qualifications

• Must own a Medical Degree (MBBS)
• Completion of a residency program in Family Medicine accredited by the National Postgraduate Medical College of Nigeria (NPMCN) or the West African College of Physicians (WACP). 
• Candidates must have pursued a fellowship in Family Medicine offered by the NPMCN or WACP
• Fellowship training further specializes in advanced clinical skills, management of complex cases, research, and leadership in family medicine.
• Successful completion of the Fellowship examinations conducted by the NPMCN or WACP in Family Medicine, leading to board certification as a Family Physician.
• Must have a practicing medicine from the Medical and Dental Council of Nigeria (MDCN).
• Continuing Professional Development
• Demonstrated skills in clinical diagnosis, patient management, communication, teamwork, and leadership.
• Adherence to ethical principles, professionalism, and commitment to patient-centered care.
• Excellent diagnostic and treatment skills
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to work in a team and collaborate with other healthcare professionals
