Factory Worker (Sachet Water Producing Factory) at Modelling Consults Ltd

Reporting to:      The Business Manager 

We are recruiting for a medium-sized growing company, manufacturing sachet water (popularly called pure-water). The company is situated along Lagos-Abeokuta Expressway, Lagos State, Nigeria. The company uses Volvo cars to distribute and sell water.

Job Description:

• Arrange sachet water in the factory while production in on-going
• Re-pack bags of sachet water anytime there are leakages
• Assist the production unit to have a seamless production shift
• Running various production shifts (night or day)
• Help in the purchase of packing bags
• Assist to distribute sachet water within the neighbourhood
• May be deployed to follow a sales vehicle
• Will be involved in Good Manufacturing Practice (exercise) every Thursday
• Ready to support the factory operations supply chain (end-to-end)
• Assist to wash sales vehicles
• Support to ensure the factory cleaning and environmental rules, at all times
• Must be ready to support sales function
• Must be ready to perform any other role as directed by the sales driver or the Business manager
• Could be assigned a domestic role
• Must be ready to report activities
• Ready to establish and maintain very cordial relationship with customers
• Supporting the factory to collect money from customers and report clearly and daily
• Supporting the sales driver to collect money and report to him appropriately
• Loading of sachet water bags into the vehicle anytime the vehicle is going for sales
• Loading is done a day preceding the day of sales.
• Understanding each customer style of operations and knowing each customer by name and location
• Support the driver in collecting the sales proceeds before closing -A MUST
• Rendering all supports to the driver to carry out the sales role very well in an effective and efficient manner.
• Assisting to ensure that the vehicle is constantly fit for sales job.

The Type of person we are looking for:

• A male
• Must be between 20 and 25 years (birth certificate to establish this)
• Must be ready to work long hours
• Must NOT be someone that either drinks alcohol or cigarettes
• Must be a simple, law-abiding person that keep to rules ( as the industry is highly regulated by Government Agencies).
• Must be hardworking, TRUSTWORTHY and dutiful
• Must be a good team player; someone that can work with other people without creating problems
• Can be from either Nigeria or any of the neighbouring countries
• Can be from any state in Nigeria
• Must be ready to live in the accommodation provided at the factory
• Must be multi-tasking (ability to perform different roles)
• Must be someone who can READ and WRITE.
• He must be able to speak good English (outside his native language)
• Must be a person that can count money very well
• He must be ready to come to Lagos State, Nigeria

Qualification:

A minimum of ordinary level school certificate is okay though we accept something higher if available BUT all we need is common sense and a sense of responsibility.

Salary

N75,000 per month

This is broken into:

• Daily food money of N750
• N50,000 cash into the bank account after the month end
• N2,500 phone recharge card of N2,500 per month
