A reputable Solar company is currently recruiting for the position of a Factory Operations Manager.

Job Competency Requirements

• Ability to oversee factory workers, production and efficiency of the machines to make sure the factory is running smoothly and ensure all operations are carried out in an appropriate and cost-effective way, lead and motivate team members to operational standards.
• Ability to manage the operations team by creating a detailed production plan schedule, perform quality controls, monitor operations and ensure the organization’s processes meets the customers requirement and legally compliant and liase with HR to reduce absenteeism.
• Ability to design business strategies and improve operational management systems, processes and best practices to meet the company production goals.
• Ability to assess and identify new opportunities for growth in current and prospective markets, win new businesses/contract and execute and create a sales team that will generate leads and sales opportunities to meet the company’s business and growth plans and the sales targets.
• Ability to analyze financial data and use them to improve profitability and maintain a view of financial position to ensure the provision of adequate cash flow for day-to-day working and in compliance with statutory requirements and reporting.
• Ability to develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders such as vendors, manufacturers, manufacturing regulatory bodies etc.
• Ability to manage inventory, forecast, develop a comprehensive company budget and perform periodic budget analyses.
• Align production processes with Company’s objectives and best practices
• Ability to schedule periodic maintenance of equipment within the factory.

Job Qualifications Requirement

• Bachelor’s degree in Operations Management, Engineering or a related field of study with a minimum of 5 years’ management work experience in a solar company.
• The applicant should have a strong analytical background.
