    Factory Logistics Manager

    Job Purpose

    • The Factory Logistics Manager is responsible for providing strategic and operational leadership for all logistics and inventory activities within the factory.
    • The role ensures the effective coordination of inbound and outbound logistics, optimal inventory management, adherence to Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP) and ISO standards, and compliance with all health, safety, and environmental (HSE) requirements.

    Key Job Responsibilities

    • Provide leadership and direction for all factory supply chain personnel to ensure operational excellence.
    • Oversee all inbound and outbound logistics operations within the factory, ensuring efficiency and accuracy.
    • Ensure that all factory stores are organized and operated in strict adherence to standard procedures for material and product flow, in line with cGMP/ISO standards and Good Housekeeping principles.
    • Guarantee the safety and compliance of all supply chain personnel with HSE policies and requirements.
    • Maintain proper inventory management to prevent stock outs, overstocking, and material obsolescence.
    • Conduct and coordinate training programs for factory supply chain staff to enhance productivity and compliance.
    • Identify and manage supply chain risks at the factory level, ensuring timely mitigation measures.
    • Collaborate with the Head, Logistics & Inventory Control and GM, Supply Chain on continuous improvement initiatives and strategic logistics planning.
    • Perform any other duties as assigned by the Head, Logistics & Inventory Control or the GM, Supply Chain.

    Minimum Educational Requirement

    • HND/B.Sc. in Social Sciences or any Supply Chain–related discipline.

    Minimum Relevant Work Experience / Training:

    • Minimum of eight (8) years cognate experience in logistics, warehouse, or supply chain management, preferably within a manufacturing or FMCG environment.
    • Proficiency in ERP systems and advanced computer literacy is required

    • Strong initiative and organizational skills.
    • Ability to work under pressure with minimal supervision.
