Job Description

The Facility Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day management of company facilities, ensuring that cleaning, gardening, and general maintenance activities are carried out effectively. The role requires supervising facility staff, coordinating service providers, and ensuring a clean, safe, and functional work environment that supports business operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise cleaning and gardening staff, ensuring high standards of cleanliness and landscaping.
• Plan, assign, and monitor daily cleaning and maintenance schedules.
• Ensure proper upkeep of offices, restrooms, common areas, and outdoor spaces.
• Oversee gardening activities, including lawn care, landscaping, and horticultural maintenance.
• Inspect facilities regularly to identify issues and ensure corrective actions are taken.
• Manage inventory of cleaning supplies, tools, and equipment.
• Liaise with external contractors/vendors for specialized facility services.
• Enforce health, safety, and environmental standards within facilities.
• Prepare and submit reports on facility conditions and staff performance.
• Support general administrative and facility-related requests from management.

Job Requirements

Education & Qualifications:

• OND/HND/B.Sc. in Facility Management, Environmental Science, Estate Management, or related field.
• Certifications in Facility Management or HSE will be an added advantage.

Experience:

• 3–5 years of experience in facility supervision, with background in cleaning and gardening services.
• Previous experience working in or supervising a cleaning company is required.
• Practical knowledge of gardening, landscaping, and horticultural maintenance.

• Good knowledge of cleaning procedures, materials, and equipment.
• Basic knowledge of horticulture and landscaping practices.
