    Facility Officer

    Key Responsibilities

    • Oversee/inspect and repair electrical, plumbing or janitorial problems
    • Responsible for security, maintenance and services of work facilities to ensure that they meet the organisation's and employees' needs.
    • Oversee the office cleaners to make sure the office space is always clean and comfortable
    • Ensuring compliance with all Health and Safety policies
    • Organise and supervise other office activities as required
    • Oversee the day-to-day operations and maintenance of company facilities. Including office spaces, equipment, utilities, and other related assets.
    • Develop and implement preventive maintenance plans to ensure the continuous functionality and longevity of facilities and equipment
    • Implement and enforce safety protocols, security measures, and emergency response plans to safeguard employees, visitors and company assets.
    • Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, inspections, and incidents.

    Person Specification

    • A Bachelor's degree in Facility Management, Engineering. Business Administration-related field.
    • Relevant certifications or training in facility management are desirable
    • Minimum of 3 Years of proven working experience as a Facility Officer or a related field
    • Strong understanding of facility operations, maintenance practices with relevant safety and security regulations.
    • Proven ability to identify and resolve facility-related issues effectively.
    • Employing analytical thinking and sound judgement.
    • Significant experience in organising office procedures
    • Strong problem-solving and organisation skills
    • Proficiency in all Microsoft Office applications.
    • Working knowledge of business management
    • The ability to multitask.
    • Excellent organisational skills
