Job Details

Facility Maintenance:

• Conduct regular inspections of church buildings and grounds.
• Schedule and oversee routine maintenance and repairs (plumbing, electrical, HVAC, landscaping).
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.

Event Coordination:

• Assist in the planning and setup of church events and activities.
• Manage the use of church facilities by internal groups and external organizations.
• Ensure that facilities are prepared and cleaned after events.

Staff Management:

• Supervise maintenance staff and volunteers.
• Provide training and support for facility staff.
• Develop work schedules and assign tasks.

Budget Management:

• Prepare and manage the facility maintenance budget.
• Monitor expenses and seek cost-effective solutions for repairs and maintenance.
• Purchase supplies and equipment as needed.

Safety and Security:

• Implement and oversee safety protocols for the church property.
• Manage security systems and coordinate emergency preparedness plans.
• Ensure that all areas of the facility are secure after hours.

Communication:

• Serve as the primary contact for facility-related inquiries.
• Maintain open communication with church leadership and staff regarding facility needs and updates.
• Provide regular reports on the status of maintenance and repairs.
