Facility Manager at Bowen University

Job Description
The job description includes:

• Cleaning of hostels, lecture halls and offices
• Maintenance of grounds and weeding of the hedge rows (lawn mowing and slashing of field)
• Trimming of flowers and trees pruning
• Fumigation / Pest control of the entire campus
• Herbicide application
• Waste management and septic tank evacuation
• Washing of overhead tanks and water reservoirs
• Desilting of blocked drainages
• And other general maintenance

Qualification and Experience

• All prospective professionals seeking to be appointed should have an excellent track records of facility management in reputable tertiary institution with minimum of five years experience in a similar position.
• Interested professionals capable of excellent service delivery are advised to visit the university for on the spot assessment of facilities on the campus
• Qualified applicant will be directly responsible to the Physical Planning Officer through the Directorate of Estate Management but ultimately to the Vice-Chancellor

Conditions of Services
This is a contract service renewable on yearly basis subject to satisfactory performance.
