    Facility Manager

    Responsibilities
    Facility Operations:

    • Oversee the day-to-day operations of the facility, including maintenance, security, cleaning, and overall functionality.
    • Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure efficient and safe facility operations.

    Maintenance Management:

    • Plan and schedule regular maintenance and repairs to ensure the facility's equipment and infrastructure are in optimal condition.
    • Coordinate with maintenance staff or external vendors to address issues promptly.

    Budget Management:

    • Develop and manage the facility budget, ensuring cost-effectiveness and adherence to financial guidelines.
    • Identify cost-saving opportunities and implement strategies to optimize operational expenses.

    Space Management:

    • Efficiently manage the allocation and utilization of space within the facility.
    • Plan for future space needs and recommend changes or improvements.

    Health and Safety Compliance:

    • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, conducting regular inspections and implementing corrective actions as needed.
    • Develop and update emergency response plans.

    Vendor Management:

    • Select, negotiate with, and manage relationships with external vendors, contractors, and service providers.
    • Monitor performance and ensure service level agreements are met.

    Environmental Sustainability:

    • Implement and monitor sustainability initiatives within the facility, including waste reduction, energy efficiency, and environmentally friendly practices.

    Security Management:

    • Oversee security measures to protect the facility, its occupants, and assets.
    • Collaborate with security personnel and implement security protocols.

    Communication:

    • Communicate effectively with internal stakeholders, addressing concerns and providing updates on facility-related matters.
    • Serve as the point of contact for facility-related inquiries.

    Team Leadership:

    • Lead and manage facility staff, providing guidance, training, and performance evaluations.
    • Foster a positive and collaborative work environment.

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor's Degree in Facility Management, Business Administration, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
    • Proven experience in facility management or a related field with a minimum of 12 years experience.
    • Strong knowledge of facility operations, maintenance, and safety regulations.
    • Excellent organizational and multitasking skills.
    • Effective communication and leadership abilities.
    • Budget management experience.
    • Familiarity with facility management software is a plus.
