    Facility Management Officer

    Reports to: Admin Officer (Facility, Office Admin & Logistics)

    Working Hours: 08:00 am- 05:00pm (Mondays to Fridays)

    Salary: N 1.5 Million Per Annum.

    KEY RESPONSIBILITIES & CRITICAL COMPETENCIES:

    • Daily monitoring and supervising of facilities at the organization’s offices in Lagos
    • Monitor janitorial and security and facility contractors.
    • Schedule routine maintenance of facilities (e.g. Air Condition, Fire Alarm System, Fire
    • Extinguishers, Access Control, CCTV, Elevators, generators e.t.c).
    • Supervise routine maintenance of facilities.
    • Supervise repair and maintenance contractors engaged for facilities in Lagos.
    • Ensure that basic facilities, such as water and power are well-maintained
    • Supervise office fit-out/renovation/refurbishment projects in Lagos
    • Supervise relocation of employees across office buildings in Lagos
    • Ensure that facilities in the office buildings in Lagos meet government regulations and environmental, health and security standards
    • Follow up with contractors/vendors to ensure prompt closure of requests.
    • Ensure prompt payment of utility bills for office buildings and offsite facilities in Lagos.
    • Monitors diesel level and ensure prompt replenishment of stock of diesel
    • Review and ensure that Service Level Agreement for facility management contractors are up to date.
    • Prepare Facility Management related periodic reports
    • Project Management
    • Perform any other duty as assigned by the Head, General Services

     MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

    • Minimum of 5 years post-graduation experience
    • Minimum of a HND in related field
    • Proven experience as facilities manager or relevant position
    • Well-versed in technical/engineering operations and facilities management best practices
    • Excellent ability to lead and manage projects
    • Knowledge of basic accounting principles a plus
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
    • Excellent organizational and decision-making skills
    • Good analytical/critical thinking skills
    • Good negotiation skills Behavioral:
    • Good communication and influencing skills
