    Facility Coordinator

    ROLE PURPOSE

    • Supervise the maintenance team
    • Maintaining maintenance records
    • Coordinating building repairs
    • Creating safety policies
    • Developing and reviewing maintenance processes
    • Fixing minor issues in appliances, office equipment or arranging for repairs when needed
    • Ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations
    • Check devices, structures and systems (e.g. fire alarms and air-conditioners) on a regular basis and identify needs for repairs and renovations.
    • Arrange for regular maintenance of equipment and internal systems (e.g. heating system, alarms, security cameras)
    • Check rooms and furniture to identify needs for repairs or renovations
    • Design and oversee the schedule for cleaning and disinfecting the building
    • Keep track of regular and ad-hoc facility expenses, such as proper waste disposal and recycling
    • Coordinate building parking space allocation
    • Keep track of regular and ad-hoc facility expenses
    • Conduct market research and compare costs and benefits when evaluating new vendors
    • Maintain an updated record of invoices from external partners (e.g. suppliers, insurance agents, security guards)
    • Research new services and appliances to facilitate operations
    • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations

    MINIMUM REQUIREMENT

    • First degree in facility management, engineering, business administration, or relevant field
    • Technical /practical mechanical and electrical experience
    • Minimum of 5-10 years hands-on experience as a Facility Coordinator/Supervisor
    • Relevant professional qualification e.g. IFM, PFM, IFMA, etc. will be a plus
    • Well vast in facility management
    • Knowledge of basic accounting and finance principles

    • Excellent communication skills
    • Excellent organizational and leadership skills
    • Good analytical/critical thinking
    • Good marketing skills
    • Ability to review and understand Leases.
    • Knowledge of Microsoft and Facility management applications
