External Auditors at Michael Okpara University

Pre-Qualification Requirements

• Evidence of Company Registration with Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC) and CAC forms
• Evidence of the Company's Registration with Office of the Auditor-General of the Federation in the year for which appointment is being sought as evidenced in the list of accredited forms issued by Office of the Auditor- General for the Federation.
• Evidence of registration with Financial Reporting Council of Nigeria.
• Evidence of registration of the Firm's Officers with the relevant Professional Bodies.
• Evidence of registration on the Bureau of Public Procurements National Database of Contractors, Consultants and Service Providers by inclusion of Interim Registration Report (IRR) expiring on 30th November, 2025.
• Tax Clearance Certificate for the last three (3) years valid till 31st December, 2025.

Tenure of the External Auditor

• The tenure of the appointed External Auditor shall be two year in the first instance, renewable for another three years subject to satisfactory performance and should not be appointed beyond five (5) years audit.
