Experienced Procurement Officer at UNICANE Industries Limited

Job Summary

• We are seeking an experienced Procurement Officer to join our team at Unicane Industries FZE. The successful candidate will have a minimum of 5 years' experience in procurement, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial setting.
• The Procurement Officer will be responsible for managing our procurement processes, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures, and maintaining relationships with suppliers.

Key Responsibilities

• Procurement Planning: Develop and implement procurement plans, strategies, and policies to ensure alignment with business objectives.
• Supplier Management: Identify, evaluate, and manage suppliers to ensure quality, reliability, and cost-effectiveness.
• Tendering and Contracting: Prepare and manage tender documents, evaluate bids, and negotiate contracts with suppliers.
• Purchasing and Logistics: Coordinate purchasing activities, ensure timely delivery of goods and services, and manage inventory levels.
• Budgeting and Cost Control: Monitor and control procurement expenditure, ensuring alignment with budgetary allocations.
• Compliance and Risk Management: Ensure compliance with procurement regulations, policies, and procedures, and identify and mitigate potential risks.

Minimum Requirements

• Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree in Procurement, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Experience: Minimum of 5 years' experience in procurement, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial setting.
• Professional Certification: Certified Procurement Professional (CPP) or Certified Supply Chain Professional (CSCP) certification is an added advantage.
