Experienced Building Engineer at Aiben Properties

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate building construction activities on site.
• Monitor construction work to ensure compliance with approved drawings and specifications.
• Inspect materials and workmanship to ensure quality standards are maintained.
• Coordinate with architects, engineers, contractors, consultants and other project stakeholders.
• Monitor project progress, materials, labour and site activities.
• Identify construction issues and recommend practical solutions.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and building standards.
• Prepare site reports and maintain proper project documentation.
• Assist in project planning, scheduling and cost control.
• Ensure projects are completed within approved timelines and quality requirements.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor’s Degree or HND in Building Engineering, Building Technology or a related field.
• 3–5 years’ relevant experience in building construction, real estate development or project management.
• Professional registration with COREN or other relevant professional body is an added advantage.
• Strong knowledge of building construction methods, materials, specifications and building regulations.
• Proven experience in site supervision, quality control and construction coordination.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, AutoCAD and relevant construction/project management software.
• Ability to interpret architectural, structural and MEP drawings.
• Strong knowledge of health, safety, quality and environmental standards.
• Excellent problem-solving, communication and project coordination skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet project deadlines.
